ALBANY, N.Y. (June 5, 2015) — The Meadows at Glenwyck, a 110-unit independent living community in Glenville designed for those 55+ who want to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle without all the hassles of home ownership, will host an open house Friday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The event is open to the public and will feature tours of the community’s one- and two-bedroom apartments. Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the facility’s common areas, including the tavern, community room, swimming pool, movie theater and fitness center, as well as learn about the Senior Engaged Life program, which offers residents a wealth of opportunities to maintain good health and expand their social circles.
“The foundation of The Meadows at Glenwyck is the belief that the key to aging well is living well,” said Glenwyck Senior Living Consultant Scott Bryant. "We create activities and programs to keep our residents mentally, physically and socially active so that they can achieve this.”
The Meadows at Glenwyck, which is located at 150 Dutch Meadows Lane (just behind WalMart), recently welcomed its first residents this month.
