LOCAL AUTHORS TO DISCUSS "DARK AND BITTER" ANTHOLOGY 4/17

GLENVILLE, N.Y. (Monday, April 9, 2018) -- Authors of Dark & Bitter, an eclectic mix of 11 short stories across several genres written by career writers based in the 518 area code, will gather Tuesday, April 17 from noon to 2 p.m. at The Meadows at Glenwyck (150 Dutch Meadows Lane, Glenville) to talk about their journey as writers, share short readings from their works, and answer questions.

SARATOGA COUNTY HISTORIAN TO SHOW, DISCUSS "HARNESSING NATURE: BUILDING THE GREAT SACANDAGA" 4/11

GLENVILLE, N.Y. (April 4, 2018) — Located in the southern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, the 29-mile-long Great Sacandaga Lake is the largest man-made body of water in New York state. On Wednesday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at The Meadows at Glenwyck, 150 Dutch Meadows Lane, Glenville, Saratoga County Historian Lauren Roberts will show the new documentary titled, Harnessing Nature: Building the Great Sacandaga. The viewing will be followed by light lunch fare and a 1 p.m. Q&A discussion.
